Teen Art Club!

WHEN: Every other Monday at 5:00pm

Teens ages 12-18 are invited to the Teen Art Club. Enjoy a space to express yourself. Explore new art techniques and prompts or just take time to work on your own art. Every skill level is welcome!

Knitting Group!

WHEN: Mondays 1:00-3:00pm


This knitting group is open to all ages and skill levels! Drop in anytime between 1:00 and 3:00 to knit, crochet, or hand-sew in a group setting. Beginners welcome! There will be seasoned knitters here to teach you and provide tips and tricks.

Alphabets & Allies!

WHEN: Third Monday of every month (fourth if it falls on a holiday) from 5:00-6:00pm

Tweens and teens ages 9-18 are invited to join Alphabet & Allies, a support group for LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies. Hang out with like-minded peers while we play games, journal, chat, craft, and more. This group usually meets at 109 Lumber St in Athol, but check the calendar to see if it's a library day! Parents are also invited to join Parenting with Pride, which will meet at the same time as Alphabet & Allies.

Registration and parental permission are required. These groups are a collaboration between Valuing Our Children and the Athol Public Library.

Athol Knights Chess Club!

WHEN: Tuesday Evenings at 6:00pm

The Athol Knights Chess Club is welcoming new members. Join coaches Dave and Clint for an evening of chess at the library. Learn the classic game from experienced players or find new opponents to challenge.

All ages willing to learn are welcome. No registration is required.

The club meets weekly on Tuesday evenings on the second floor of the library (between the two study rooms) from 6:00-7:45 pm. Children ages 8 and under must have an adult present in the building for the duration of the program.

Dungeons & Dragons Club!

WHEN: First Wednesday of the month from 3:30-5:30 pm

Looking for adventure and excitement? Whether you're a seasoned player or a beginner, our club welcomes all adventurers ages 10-18. We will meet on the first Wednesday of each month from 3:30-5:30 pm to explore the vast and magical world of D&D.

We provide all the necessary materials, including character sheets and dice, so all you need to bring is your imagination. Our club is a great opportunity to make new friends, exercise your problem-solving skills, and have fun!

Teen Crafternoons!

WHEN: Second Wednesday of the month at 3:30pm.

On the second Wednesday of the month, drop by the Teen Space at 3:30 pm for a laid-back craft. Each month there will be a new craft to learn and enjoy.

ATAC: Athol Teen Advisory Council!
