Everyone has a story. Your life experiences are the expression of your unique journey, however great or small, and you are the central character.
Have you been thinking about penning a memoir? Do you have stories or life experiences that you want to record, but you'd like a little help getting started? Come to the Athol Library's workshop on September 15th!
In this workshop you'll explore the many possibilities for story and
write a short draft in response to one of several provided prompts. In
the supportive atmosphere of the group you may choose to read your writing aloud and receive feedback. Only positive feedback allowed!
You'll leave with the draft of a story and new confidence in yourself
as a writer.
Mara Bright is a published writer and poet, teacher of writing and
founder of Bear Mountain Writers, a writers group for adults. Her
memoir The Constant Heart was published in 2013 by Levellers Press.
Space is limited; please register. Call 978-249-9515 to reserve your spot.
