Dear PC Doctor:

I hope you can help!  I use Word 2010 and my toolbar is gone!  I don’t know what I did to make it disappear but I need it back.  I can’t make anything bold or center text or change the line spacing.  I hate it.

Dear Jane;

The invisible toolbar (or ‘ribbon’) catches a lot of Word users by surprise.  People minimize it accidentally quite often.  To make it appear again, (with the program open), hold down the ‘ctrl’ and ‘F1’ keys at the same time.  The same command will both hide it and restore it.
