The Athol Public Library Announces Saturday Hours!

9:30 – 1:00, September 9 through May 19.

Beginning September 9th

The staff of the Athol Public Library is proud to announce that, starting on September 9th, the library will be open on Saturday mornings.

“Community members have been asking for Saturday hours for quite some time,” said Robin Shtulman, APL assistant director.  “We are grateful to Town manager Shaun Suhoski, the finance committee, and voters at town meeting for supporting this increase in library hours.  It is a pleasure to be able to offer more of what people need.”

Every Saturday, something special will be happening at the Athol Public Library.  On Saturday, September 9th, every child in 5th grade or younger who visits the Children’s Room will receive a free book.  Every person who borrows a book on September 9th will be entered into a free raffle for a gift certificate to Quabbin Harvest Market, courtesy of the Friends of the Athol Public Library.  Be sure to check our library calendar at www.athollibrary.org to learn about our other Special Saturdays!

Saturday hours will be 9:30 – 1:00.  Please call the library at 978-249-9515 for more information.
