Dear PC Doctor:
I have my own Google drive account and I also use an account for an organization I work for. I accidentally started and saved some documents in the wrong account. Is there an easy way to transfer files between Google accounts?
Thank you,
Maria
Dear Maria:
The easiest way is to download the files to your desktop and then upload them to the correct account. To download a Google Drive file, click on it once; the name of the file should highlight in pale blue. Next, right-click, and choose Download from the menu that appears.
To upload the file into the correct account, first log in to the account. Choose Drive, then New>File Upload. Choose the file you want to move. Google will confirm Upload Complete when it has succeeded.
I hope this helps!
Until next time,
Happy Computing!
