Children’s Library Summer Events. *Note: Some events require registration.*

Knucklebones Community Playspace
Tuesday, June 26, 1 pm - 2:30 pm
Ages 8 months - 12 years old
No registration required

Join the Knucklebones crew with all kinds of fun activities in the program room! Knucklebones will set up several activities. With fun equipment: rodys, hoppers, build-n-balance, balance stones, double sided basketball, seesaw, hula hoops, and more. This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Athol Public Library.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Open House
Wednesday, June 27, 1 pm – 2 pm
Families
No registration required

Stop in to see the new science resources in the Children’s Library. Participants with be able to interact will several different resources such as robots, Makey Makeys, littleBits, and much more! These resources are brought to you with federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Run Along with Doug Adams
Thursday, June 28, 1 pm - 2 pm
Ages 4 - 11
Registration required

Children will record steps on a pedometer as they 'run along' to Doug's original music and theatrical show. Each child that attends will receive a pedometer and one of Doug's CDs. This program is generously funded by the Friends of Athol Public Library.
