Learn ukulele with Julie!

Featuring songs popular when the library was first built. Part of the Athol Public Library’s centennial celebration!
Instructor Julie Stepanek will arrive with 25 ukuleles for participants to use during the program which will run approximately one hour. After a brief lesson, in which participants will learn how to hold the ukulele, strum, and play chords, the program will continue with a strum-along of easy songs, featuring some songs popular in 1918.
Libraries that have hosted Julie have called her lively and upbeat, and her ukulele programs fun and entertaining. She comes highly recommended and is sure to have you happily strumming to the tunes of yesteryear.
Free and open to the public.
Ukuleles provided!

Please call (978) 249-9515 to register, and let us know if you will be bringing your own ukulele or using one of Julie’s.
Limited to 25 participants.
This program is suitable for all ages. Children under 11 should bring a grown up.
