Technology Help Tuesdays!
We’re offering a new service!
Technology is great for communication, entertainment and information. But, computers, cell phones and tablets can be challenging – especially for new or inexperienced users. For many people basic tasks like searching the internet or setting up an email account can seem intimidating. We understand and have launched “Tech Help Tuesdays” to help users more easily navigate the digital world.
The tech help desk is open every Tuesday from 1:00 – 2:00. Our staff are experts at downloading books, magazines, and the latest apps onto your device and can answer most software or internet questions, too. Look for Robin Brz., our help desk tech, near the public computers or ask for her at the circulation desk. No registration is required. Drop in and you'll be seen first come, first served. Please note that time limits may apply. For device-specific question, we encourage you to bring your equipment for hands on help with your technology questions.
We have 13 computers available to C/W MARS card holders and offers free public Wi-Fi. Remember, always ask for help when you need it. While we do our best to help “on demand”, it is not always possible to give you the attention you need and deserve. That’s where the idea for Tech Help Tuesdays came from. Additionally, individuals requiring more involved instruction can request a one-on-one hour long tutoring session with Assistant Director, Robin Shtulman.
Help us spread the word about this new service! For more information call either of the Robins at 978-249-9515 or drop by and see us!
