Promoting early literacy and togetherness
Every Wednesday 10:30 – 11:00 am
Free & Open to the Public
Join River for Story Time! We'll read books, sing songs, watch a short movie, and send everyone home with a craft! Story Time is typically intended for children ages 3 - 5, but any child who can enjoy a picture book will enjoy Story Time.

The benefits of Story Time are limitless! Participating regularly in Story Time teaches children social skills, like how to listen, sit still, and be part of a group. It encourages early literacy by spending time reading and getting excited about books! Even singing songs together help develop phonological awareness (the ability to recognize and work with sounds in spoken language).
Registration: We encourage folks to sign up for Story Time each week through our library calendar in order to reserve their spot. There will only be 10 registration spots open so that we have room for walk-in attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. We typically do not reach capacity, so we encourage you to stop in, even if all the registration spots are taken.
