Paws to Read!

A cartoon boy reading to the real Hunter the dog.

Thursday, August 25 4:30 - 5:30 pm. Grades K-12.

Our friend, Hunter the Therapy Dog, and his human, Amanda, will be visiting the library on Thursday, August 25, for Paws to Read!

Kids in grades K-12 can sign up for a 15-minute time slot during which they will be able to sit with Hunter and read him whatever they like. Therapy dogs are excellent listeners and provide a safe and non-judgmental space for emerging readers to practice and gain confidence in their reading skills.

Time slots are available from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Call the library at 978-249-9515 and ask for the Children's Room to schedule your 15-minute time slot.
