Program: Backyard Astronomy
Thursday, May 14 @ 7:00 p.m. Free & Open to the Public
Athol Public Library Program Room and the library park
Free and Open to the Public
Did you know that the Athol Public Library has a telescope that adult patrons in good standing may borrow? It is an Orion Starblaster telescope, and it was donated to the library by Sue and Rich Scheuller.
Come to this great presentation and learn how to use this telescope! You will also learn about the night sky and what you might expect to see in your neighborhood. Then, we'll go outside and everyone will have a chance to look through the scope!
There will also be spacey door prizes!
This program is free and open to the public. Please dress for the weather.
Many thanks to the Scheullers, John Root, Jim Zebrowski, the Aldrich
Astronomical Society and the New Hampshire Astronomical Society.
Registration is appreciated but not required.
