Program: Reflections from the Pacific Crest Trail with Wendy Johnston!

Thursday, May 21, 2015, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Registration Required!

Are you ready for spring after that long winter?  Are you ready to get back on those hiking trails?  If so, then this is the program for you!  Join the Athol Public Library at 568 Main Street, Athol, on Thursday May 21st, at 6:00 p.m., when we welcome Wendy Johnston for her presentation, Reflections from the Pacific Crest Trail.

Reflections from the Pacific Crest Trail with Wendy Johnston!

In 2013, Wendy hiked the entire 2,700 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail from the US/Mexican border to the US/Canadian border through California, Oregon, & Washington. (The same trail Cheryl Strayed wrote about in her book “Wild”.)

This is a powerful 90 minute talk focusing on what she learned on her 5-month long journey.  Wendy felt strongly that she wanted to share what she learned from her experience.  Come listen to Wendy’s story and look at her beautiful slideshow of the Pacific Crest Trail.

There will be a Q & A session at the end of the presentation.  Wendy hopes you will leave inspired and encouraged to step outside your comfort zone and follow your own dreams.

This library program is free and open to the public.

Please call the library to sign up at 978-249-9515.  Due to popularity of programs, registration is required.
