Summer Food Service Program
Through the Summer Food Service Program and Project Bread, the library will be offering a free lunch to any child 18 and under from June 21 to August 13 in the Activities Room. Adults are welcome to join their children at a cost of $3.25 for per adult meal.
Lunch will be served from 11:30-12:30. The menu for the week will be posted on the Activities Room door and on the Athol Public Library website. The following programs will be offered after the meal from 1:00-2:00: Mondays-Wii Gaming, Tuesdays-Art, Wednesdays-Crafts, Thursdays-Board games, and Fridays-Movie.
This is a federally funded program administered by the Massachusetts Department of Education and more information about Project Bread, the state's leading hunger organization, can be found at www.projectbread.org.
