Dear PC Doctor:
I was using my MacBook Air yesterday and went to open a Pages file. It wouldn’t open. I noticed that Pages wasn’t in my dock. I searched my computer and couldn’t find the Pages application anywhere. Then I noticed Keynote was gone, too! And Numbers! I’m really mad and frustrated, too. What can I do? How expensive are these? Do I have to buy them again?
Signed, Unhappy
Dear Unhappy:
There’s bad news and good news. The bad news is that it looks like all of your iWork apps are gone, and we do not know why. The good news is that you can get them back. Go online to the Apple App Store. Search for iWork. You will see Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. When you sign in with your Apple ID, you will be able to download them to your device and there will not be any cost (because you have already purchased them). Before signing out of the App Store, look on your device for iMovie and Garage Band, too. If those have disappeared, you can also download them again at no cost.
Until next time,
Happy Computing!
PC Doctor
