Athol Library Open House!

The public is invited to attend an open house at the Athol Public Library on Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

There will be refreshments and an opportunity to say farewell to retiring Library Director Deb Blanchard, and to congratulate the library's new director, former Children's Librarian Jean Shaughnessy.

The library will also be open from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. during the North Quabbin Fall Festival. There will be a raffle, craft activities in the Children's Room, tours of the library, the ongoing Friends of the Library book sale and, of course, books, magazines, DVDs, and audiobooks.

This event is free and open to the public.
