Quick Energy Tips from Your Green Library

Great Ways to Go Green for Little or No Cost!

Wondering if those old vegetable seeds you have in the kitchen drawer are any good?  Try this:

Spray some paper towels with warm water.
Place about 10 seeds on the moistened towel.
Cover with another moistened towel.
Roll up and place inside a lightweight plastic bag.
Punch some holes in the bag -- Seeds need air!
Place somewhere with constant warmth, like the top of the refrigerator.
Keep lightly moist.
Within 7 days, most vegetable seeds should sprout, and then you know the packet is worth the effort of planting!
