Dear PC Doctor:
Back when I had Windows XP Pro, I had invoice templates that I used for my home business. When I upgraded to Windows 7, they went away, as did many other features I used regularly. (No way I’m upgrading to Widows 10!) Where can I get a nice invoice template, particularly one that has the multiplication formulas in it that I can use with Microsoft Office and Windows 7?
Thank you,
Len
P.S. Free is preferred.
Dear Len:
I hear you! With each upgrade come changes; some we like, and some we don’t. The good news is that there are invoice templates with the features you seek that work in Excel.
I did a Google search for “Excel invoice template that multiplies for Windows 7” and found a few. The trick, as always, is to be sure that you are downloading files from a trusted site. Look carefully before clicking “download.” Many ‘free’ downloads are able to be free because they have other products embedded in them or make you watch ads before granting you access. Read the page, be sure you are downloading the template you want, (most sites offer a preview before downloading), and look to see if there are any add-ons and/or checkboxes you need to un-check before proceeding. Good luck!
Until next time,
Happy Computing!
