Program: The Art of Self-Publishing with Local Author Steven Michaels
June 29, 2017 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Registration Required!
Join the Athol Public Library at 568 Main Street, Athol, on Thursday, June 29, 2017, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., when we welcome Steve Michaels for his workshop.
Have you ever written a novel but were unsure about self-publishing? Here is your chance to learn all about it.
Local author Steven Michaels will speak about how to self-publish, share his own personal experience with self-publishing, and give a reading from his novel, Sweet Life of Mystery: The Misadventures of a Panicky Private Eye. Copies of Steven Michaels’ book will be for sale at this event after the reading. This workshop is designed for those who want to learn more about self-publishing and features an entertaining reading from Michael’s comical novel.
Steven Michaels is the pen name of a not so mysterious man living in North Orange whose only excuse for using a pen name is due in part to his actual last name looking terrible in either BOLD or ITALIC PRINT. He is the author of Sweet Life of Mystery: The Misadventures of a Panicky Private Eye, a parody of the genre. He is currently working on an anthology with other local authors in Western Massachusetts.
This library program is free and open to the public. Light Refreshments are generously funded by the Friends of the Athol Public Library.
Free & Open to the Public! Registration is required! Please call the library to sign up at 978-249-9515.
