Dear PC Doctor:
Suddenly, my iPhone can’t make or receive phone calls. When I try, I get the message “failed.” Yesterday I could call. I can still text and browse the internet where there’s wifi. My family member who’s on the same phone plan can make calls (but not to me). Is my phone broken? It’s not old! What can I do?
Signed,
Bev
Dear Bev:
I know this sounds silly, but it can work: Please turn your phone all the way off and let it rest a few minutes. This really does solve some iPhone issues.
If that didn’t work, it you may need to reset your network settings. Turn on your phone. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. It is very likely that this will solve your problem. If it doesn’t, you may want to contact your cell service provider.
Until next time,
Happy Computing!
