Summer Isn’t Over Yet!
We still have the whole month of August to enjoy the many activities summer in New England has to offer! If you are looking for ideas, the library is the place to go. We have a new display showcasing activities and events happening throughout the month – and more!
Here are a few of the things you will find:
Museum passes that you can borrow. Patrons over 18 with cards in good standing have access to 15 different museums! Many offer free admission. Click here for a full list and links so you can see what is happening.
Do you or someone in your family have an EBT card? You can use your EBT card for reduced admission to educational and cultural institutions throughout Massachusetts. Click here for the full list of participating museums.
Check out #FREEFUNFRIDAYS. Throughout the summer Fridays are free at participating museums. Click here for the full list of participating programs.
For local events and activities check out the North Quabbin Visitors Bureau. You can sign up for their newsletter and have a current list of events delivered right to your inbox every week!
Be sure to pick up a free copy of the new magazine Uniquely Quabbin. In addition to great stories there are pages of events listed in their calendar at the back of the magazine. You can also visit them on Facebook for all the latest news.
Make plans to make the most of the rest of your summer. Don’t forget to schedule some down time! Drop by the library, visit our display and pick up a few books to enjoy between events!
