New Traveling Exhibition at the Athol Public Library

The Children's Room at the Athol Public Library is currently hosting, "I Love My Kyrgyzstan," a traveling exhibition made possible by the Fermata Arts Foundation and the Embassy of Kyrgyz Republic to the U.S. and Canada in Washingtion D.C. The exhibition consists of drawings from students 4 - 17 years of age studying at the Republican Center of Aesthetic Education for Children in Bishtek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan (also known as the Kyrgyz Republic).  The exhibition runs through September in the Children's Room.  The mission of Fermata Arts is to aid in preserving peace through mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation.
