Friends of the Athol Public Library to Offer FREE Books and More!

Repeat Performance of Book Bag Give-a-Way! Under the Portico! On Wednesday, October 7, from 5:00 – 6:00.

The first Book Give-a-Way was so successful and appreciated by patrons that the staff and Friends of the Athol Public Library have decided to do it again!

On Wednesday, October 7, from 5:00 – 6:00 pm, we will have a repeat outdoor performance under the portico.

Masks and gloves will be worn by all our volunteers handing out book bags and other items, and masks and social distancing will also be required of our patrons who attend. Participants will be invited to choose a bag and to keep the bag they have touched.

We have many more books to give away! We will have children’s books, mysteries, popular fiction and more!

The Bonus/Miscellaneous Table was such a success that we will be offering it again with more puzzles, paperbacks, CDs, DVDs and odds and ends – all free – to choose from after you have received your gift bag of books.

All items to be given away have been quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours.

No exchanges or returns allowed.

Please wear your face covering at this event.
