Beginning October 19. Monday through Thursday, 9:30 – 6:00.
The staff of the Athol Public Library are delighted to announce that the library will soon be open to the public. In accordance with Governor Baker’s Phase 3 guidelines, the Athol Public Library will be open for browsing and limited services Monday through Thursday, 9:30 – 6:00, beginning on Monday, October 19.
Patrons visiting the library will be required to wear a face mask, use hand sanitizer, and to keep a six-foot distance from one another. The Board of Health has asked that patrons sign in on a contact tracing sheet, so that they can be notified in case of a COVID outbreak. Patrons will also be asked to limit their visits to one half hour.
Computers will be available (for one session per day), as will the fax machine and photocopier. Patrons will be able to borrow library materials, but will not be able to sit and read inside the building at this time. Our children’s collection will be accessible to one family at a time.
We’re very excited to welcome you back!
