On Thursday, July 14, literary agent Jan Kardys will offer a workshop on the secrets of getting published. This workshop is designed to help aspiring writers learn about finding an agent and the steps necessary to publish a book.
Participants will gain an insider’s view of book publishing and learn how to effectively find an agent, how to write a book proposal and prepare a manuscript for submission, learn about publicity and marketing/promotion and investigate opportunities for self-publishing.
Jan Kardys is president of Black Hawk Literary Agency in Redding, Connecticut and has over 30 years of diversified publishing experience for nine major publishers.
