Quick Energy Tips from Your Green Library

Great ways to go green for little or no cost! New tip every Sunday.

Get a houseplant, breathe easier!
A NASA study reveals houseplants remove up to 87% of toxic indoor air within 24 hours.  Specifically, houseplants help with Formaldehyde, Benzene, and Trichloroethylene.   Keep away from drafty areas, as drafts reduce their ability to filter toxins.  Among the most effective plants are:    heartleaf philodendron, English ivy, spider plant, and peace lily.  No green thumb?  Try a succulent, like aloe!
