Dear PC Doctor:
I have a new Amazon Fire HD8 tablet. I was using it, the phone rang, and when I returned to it, the menus weren’t in English anymore – They were in a language I didn’t recognize! How can I restore all the features to English?
Thank you,
D
Dear D:
To do that, drag down the quick Settings from the top of the screen, look for the image of a gear in the upper right-hand corner. On the next menu, the option for Keyboard and Language will be on the right side of the screen and have an image of a globe to its left. Tap that. On your next screen, the top menu choice is Language. Choose that. On the next screen, the languages are in alphabetical order. English should be written in English. Tap that. When you return to the home screen, it should refresh itself and be in English.
Good luck!
Until next time,
Happy Computing!
