Dear PC Doctor:

I recently had to schedule a professional meeting and the group I was meeting with gave me two choices: telephone or webex. I wasn’t sure what to choose, because I do not know what webex is. What can you tell me?

Thanks,
Mer

Dear Mer:

Webex is a remote meeting tool, much like Skype, Zoom, or GotoMeeting.

Webex is a tool that allows users to host or participate in video conferencing, online meetings, and screen sharing. Some versions of Webex allow for very large meetings, (up to 1,000 participants) in one virtual meeting room. Meetings can be joined via desktop, web, or mobile app.

I hope this helps!
Until next time,
Happy Computing!
