Dear PC Doctor:

We have TCL Roku TV and I want to move it to another room in our house. I hesitate to unplug it, as setting it up took a while and we have a few different streaming services that all have a different user name and password – Will I have to re-enter all that information again when the TV is in the new room, or will the log ins carry over? It will be the same wireless connection.

Thank you,
Watching and Waiting

Dear Watching:

This one stumped me so I reached out to TCL Customer Support. Here is what they had to say:

“You don't need to worry - Moving the TV from one room to another will never affect what's already been set up on it. The only time that you'll need to input all your credentials to the TV is when you do a factory reset on it.”

I hope this helps.
Until next time,
Happy Computing!
