Quick Energy Tips from Your Green Library

Great ways to go green for little or no cost! New tip every Sunday.

Why should I conserve water?

We are pumping out up to 15 times more water out of the ground than is returned into the aquifer.  Because we have so much pavement, rainwater can't soak into the ground. Additionally, we've cut down so many trees worldwide that soils are eroding and hardening, making it harder for rain to soak in.

Everyone can help by doing simple things, like turning off the water faucet while brushing teeth or shaving.
