Paws to Read!

Thursday, August 24, from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. Grades K-12.

Cartoon black boy reading to a real black lab dog, Hunter.

Our friend, Hunter the Therapy Dog, and his human, Amanda, will be visiting the library on Thursday, August 24, for Paws to Read!

Kids in grades K-12 can sign up for a 15-minute time slot during which they will be able to sit with Hunter and read him whatever they like. Therapy dogs are excellent listeners and provide a safe and non-judgmental space for emerging readers to practice and gain confidence in their reading skills.

Time slots are available from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Call the library at 978-249-9515 and ask for the Children's Room to schedule your 15-minute time slot.
