Saturday, November 18 at 10:30
Scott Ellis, of Scott Ellis Reads, will present a workshop on audiobooks, how they are produced, and how they can benefit authors. Though this program is tailored to authors, any person interested in audiobooks and their creation is welcome to attend.
Presenter Scott Ellis says: “As an audiobook narrator and retired teacher, I am always looking for ways to engage more people with audiobooks. I am looking forward to being with your group to walk through the entire process of audiobook production: searching for the right narrator on the right platform, understanding the lingo used in the industry especially as it relates to pricing and royalties, the step by step process of how to vet narrators, what your responsibilities are as the author and answering all your many questions except “Why is the sky blue?” and “What is the meaning of life?
This will be a hybrid discussion. Free and Open to the Public. Registration is required.
Presented by the Straw Dog Writer’s Guild!
