Teen LEGO Animation Workshop

July 30 - August 1 from 3:30 - 5:00

In this four part guided workshop, teens will create their own LEGO stop motion video. We’ll spend the first session exploring the app and mapping out storyboards. On day two, we’ll build sets and props using the library’s LEGO collection. Next, we’ll break out our smartphones and tablets and use a free app to film our movies. On the last day, we’ll work on editing and adding our finishing touches. Once they are complete, we’ll post our movies on the library’s YouTube channel.

Teens must be able to attend all four days: July 30, July 31, August 1, and August 2, to participate. The workshop involves using a free app on a smartphone or tablet with camera capabilities. If you need to borrow a device from the library, please make note when registering.

Space is limited, registration required. Open to teens ages 12 - 18.
