Join the Athol Public Library at 568 Main Street, Athol, on Thursday, September 12, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., when we welcome Kim Larkin for her workshop pairing coffee & chocolate.
In this one hour workshop participants will hear about the health benefits of both dark chocolate and coffee, and where they come from. She will pair coffee provided with different chocolate varieties throughout the class. Each person will receive a coffee-chocolate tasting wheel to help throughout the event.
We will discover how the cacao bean and the coffee bean transform into chocolate and coffee, learn about the very first baristas, and much more fun trivia.
Kim Larkin has been teaching students ages 5 – 75 for over 20 years. She has a commercial chocolate business and she is a licensed chocolatier. She holds programs at libraries, schools, women’s groups, retirement communities, and fundraising events in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
