Teen February Vacation Week at the Library
School is out for Athol teens and we have a whole week of activities planned!

Process Art for Kids and Teens
Tuesday, February 18, 3:00pm - 4:00pm

Process Art is a creative free-for-all! Rather than follow along with directions to make a specific craft, participants are free to simply create whatever they like! We'll have tables set up with different kinds of art supplies and tools for everyone to move around freely and make anything their imaginations allow.

Space is limited. Registration required. Ages 3-18.

Athol Knights Chess Club
Tuesday, February 18, 6:00pm - 7:45pm

Join coaches Dave and Clint for an evening of chess at the library. Learn the classic game from experienced players or find new opponents to challenge. All ages willing to learn are welcome.

No registration required. All ages.

Hide and Seek
Wednesday, February 19, 6:15pm - 7:30pm

The teen favorite is back! The library will be closed, the lights will be off, and the hiding spots will be waiting. Challenge each other and staff to find the best hiding place in the
library while enjoying multiple variations on the traditional game.

Please arrive on time - doors will be locked once the program has started to ensure safety. Parents and guardians will not be permitted in the building during the program - please plan accordingly.

Registration required. Ages 12-18.
Snow date will be February 26.

Switch Gaming
Thursday, February 20, 3:30pm - 5:00pm

Teens are invited to drop by the Teen Space for some casual gaming on the library's Nintendo Switch. Thanks to the Friends of the Library, we have some new controllers and games to try out including Gang Beasts and Sonic Superstars. You can also enjoy Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Overcooked, Just Dance, and more! Drop by and have some fun.

No registration required. Open to ages 12-18.

Drop in Button Making
Friday, February 21, 3:30 - 4:30pm

Stop by the teen space to create your own pin-back buttons. Bring a design to cut out or use images provided by the library. Each participant can make up to five buttons while supplies last.

No registration required. Ages 12-18.

Always in the Teen Space: Books, Manga, Comics, Coloring Pages, Board Games, Card Games, Boredom Box, White Board Polls, Break-In Bags, DIY Kits & more!

Plus all month long, log your reading on Beanstack for The Teen Winter Reading Challenge to earn prizes and raffle tickets.
