The Athol Public Library announces Food for Fines on April 8!
On the day before the North Quabbin Food-a-thon (April 8), during library open hours, patrons may donate non-perishable food items in order to bring down their overdue fines.
One non-perishable food item (such as a can of soup) will equal one dollar of waived overdue fines. No expired items will be accepted.
We cannot waive any Interlibrary Loan fines, or fines resulting from lost or damaged items.
Food for Fines will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on April 8 only.
9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
