New Museum Pass: Springfield Museums

Announcing – by popular demand – The Athol Public Library now has a pass to the Springfield Museums that you may borrow! Our Friends of the Athol Public Library group has donated the funds to purchase this museum pass. The Springfield Museum pass entitles the bearer to free admission for up to 4 people. (The pass may not be used for special exhibits, programs, or the planetarium.)

Located in the heart of downtown Springfield, Massachusetts, the Springfield Museums offer access to five world-class museums, including the Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum and the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden, the George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum, the Springfield Science Museum, the Lynne and Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History, and the Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts, all under a single admission.

The museum is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday from 11am – 5 pm and closed on Mondays. Visit their website at https://springfieldmuseums.org/ for information on current and upcoming events.


Patrons in good standing who are 18 or older can borrow this or any of our other passes by calling for a reservation or stopping in the library.
