Dear PC Doctor:

I love music. I would like to hear more music and learn about new music. We don’t get a lot of radio stations where I live. (The signals don’t come through.) I heard there are places on the internet for listening to music, and maybe they make suggestions for other things I might like. Can you tell me about some of that?

Thanks,

Cal

Dear Cal:

There are many, many places you can visit on the internet to hear great music! Some are free, some cost money, some require you to create an account, and some do not. Typically, the free versions of the sites interrupt the music with advertising from time to time. You can listen on your computer through a browser, or download an app to your device. Here are some of the most commonly used sites:

Youtube.com
Spotify.com
Pandora.com
Shazam.com
Bandcamp.com

Happy Listening!
PC Doctor
