On the Same Page Program: The History of Book Burning and Censorship With an Emphasis on Nazi Germany.

A Talk by Amy Pattee, Thursday, May 29 from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

The third event in the On the Same Page program at the Athol Public Library will take place on Thursday, May 29 from 5:00 to 6:00. 

Amy Pattee, professor at the Simmons Graduate School of Library and Information Science, will talk on the history of book burning and censorship with an emphasis on Nazi Germany. 

This event follows a book discussion and movie screening of The Book Thief, the story of Liesel Meminger growing up with her foster family in Nazi Germany.  For more information, please call the library at 978-249-9515.
