Dear PC Doctor:

Several times now, my Windows 10 computer has given me this weird message:

“Error occured. Flow will now shut down.” (Yes, it has that weird misspelling of “occurred.”)
I’m at a loss – Can you tell me what this might mean?

Thanks,
Jules

Yes. This is related to your computer’s audio. Other users have reported that going to device manager and updating sound drivers can fix this.

In the Windows 10 search box at the bottom left of your screen, type “Control Panel.” Select “Device Manager” and then choose “Sound, video and game controllers.” Then right click on “Conexant HD Audio” and select “Update Driver.” Click where it says “Search automatically for updated driver software.” After the driver has been installed, restart your computer.

I hope this helps!
Until next time,
Happy computing!
