Dear PC Doctor:
Long ago, I started a blog on blogger.com. I haven't written anything on it in about 2 years, and it feels silly to have it hanging out there in cyberspace. How do I get rid of it?
Thanks, Dave
Dear Dave:
If you're sure you want to delete your blog, here's how:
Sign in to your account on blogger.com. There will be a list of all your blogs (if you have more than one). Next to the blog you want to delete, select “Settings” from the drop-down menu. Under “Settings” on the left side of the page, click “Other.” Go to "Blog tools." If you think you may regret deleting your blog, click “Export Blog” to save a copy on your hard drive. If you're sure you never want to use or see this blog again, click “Delete this Blog.” That's it! All done.
Alternatively, if you are interested in starting a blog, there are quite a few blogging services. Blogger is just one. Others include WordPress, Weebly, Penzu, Squarespace, Wix, and more. Some are free and some have a subscription fee. In general, the ones that are free place ads somewhere in your blog. All of them require that you register for an account. I hope that helps –
Until next time … Happy Computing!
