Art Display!
Former Athol Library staff member Elizabeth Lindgren’s art on display!
Visit the Athol Public Library this summer to see a wonderful collection of soft sculptures by Elizabeth Lindgren. Elizabeth designs and sews stuffed fabric dragons, pixies, sea horses, and fish, and many are on display now on the second floor of the Athol Public Library. Elizabeth also has a three-quarter-life-sized soft-sculpture friend named Granny who sometimes joins her on Facebook.
This display is timed to coincide with Haley's release of Lindgren's second book, Revenge of the Untamed Magic, which is a sequel to her tween mystery The Secret of Sooty Wick Inn. Both books feature spunky protagonist Beetle Beane and are available for patrons to borrow.
