Dear PC Doctor:
I use Yahoo Mail. I have a lot of emails in my inbox, and folders I don’t understand. There’s one called “Archive.” What does this mean?
Signed,
Elliott
Dear Elliott:
To archive an email message is to put it out of sight without deleting it. Most email programs have a feature like this. When you archive a message, it doesn’t show up in your Inbox when you are looking for new messages. It makes your view less cluttered, but keeps the message so that you can refer to it, read it, and reply to it, if needed. It’s just in your Archive Folder instead of in your Inbox.
Until next time,
Happy Computing!
