This program will review the differences between wills and trusts and the differences between revocable trusts and irrevocable trusts.
Join Lynn Bouvier Kapiskas, Esq. as she reviews the steps involved in the probate process and speaks in general terms as to the cost of probating an estate. She will review other estate planning related documents, including health care proxies and durable powers of attorney and how nursing home or long-term care planning impacts the estate planning discussion.
Lynn Bouvier Kapiskas, Esq is a graduate of Providence College and Suffolk University Law School. Lynn is currently employed as an attorney in the Law Offices of Mark L. Smith in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, where she has been employed for almost thirty-four (34) years. Lynn is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts in the State of Rhode Island and in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
