Dear PC Doctor:

I have Windows 10 on my PC and am trying to figure out how to download and backup thousands of photos from my iPhone's iCloud. There does not seem to be a block download function and I don't want to try one photo at a time. How do I do it?

Harry

Dear Harry:

First, visit www.icloud.com. At the top of the page, you will see Download iCloud for Windows. Click Download Now. When you click there, you will be taken to an Apple support page with full instructions for setting up iCloud on your Windows 10 computer. You may need to restart your computer to complete the process.

Sign in to your iCloud account on your computer. Click Photos. Click on the first photo. Use the keyboard command Ctrl-A to select all of your photos. In the menu bar across the top, look for the image of a cloud with a down arrow. Click that. All of your selected photos will download to your computer.

Until next time,
Happy Computing!
